This 2013
has been an amazing year! I was busier than ever--with new clients and several past clients returning with new family
milestones. I photographed beautiful seniors and families, attended a fantastic photography
workshop in Park City, UT, I worked to heal knee and neck sprains…and a broken heart as I learned my step-mom passed away. My work has
been nationally recognized and used in locally in a magazine, I welcomed
a new puppy to the family, and my girl started her senior year!
I feel this was a blossoming year for me as an artist. I found my style, my groove. I am always creating and asking how God
wants to use me. Where, when, and what. The "how"
is always a surprise. In the past 2 months, I've taught both art and photography classes to young people. It was a dream, but yet it surprised me. What a beautiful surprise it was!

I grew
as a business owner in 2013, and learned a lot of valuable business owner
lessons! I changed my business model--and continue to see a difference! I’ve
created very special relationships with my clients, and continued to grow with past
clients that have believed in me since day one. And now the kids are coming to
me to schedule their own portraits!
I work
hard and play hard. I love my
life's work artist and teacher with my daughter following in my
footsteps. She is my inspiration and it’s so wonderful to work together on sessions when we can. My husband, my best friend and supporter, has been my biggest cheerleader. It's his unwavering love and deep commitment to my bliss!
I am blessed by being able to create meaningful art for cool people. I am so
supported and inspired by my friends, family, our community, fans, and band
family. Words cannot express how
continually grateful I am for everyone and everything. Thank you for blessing
my life. I cannot wait to see what 2014
brings!
Love,
Dawn
XOXOXO
