Source of Inspiration

Art breathes spirit and life all around us. With these times of healing among us, we may find ourselves seeking sunnier visions of daily life. Spirit inspires and guides my life in all kinds of ways and people. Through artistic endeavors, I discover blessings in new ways, and feel connected and grounded.

Artists offer fresh perspectives, some deep discussions, or windows to a view by the most amazing waters. The painters, wordsmiths, musicians, gardeners, sculptors, and, yes, photographers of the world, can be found in every woman, man and child. Each artist’s expression is an unfolding of something unique and personal.

As we give ourselves permission to tell a story—in whatever form that takes—we can feel the universe smile upon us, and the healing can continue. Perhaps your art is a moment in time, a memory, or a song that needs to be sung. Maybe someone out there needs to see your art, or maybe your world changes because you express your art. What is your art?

May you always paint the colors of your days! ~D.C.
